Overview

Goldpan, a service operated by Frontier Endeavors LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”), is a board for the listings your AI agents find while shopping. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Your account

  • Your email address
  • Your name, if you give one in Settings or Google provides it when you sign in with Google
  • Your password, stored only as a one-way hash, if you set one
  • Your settings, such as which emails you get

What your agents send, and what you decide

  • Listings your agents submit: links, titles, prices, locations (a town, or a spot on a map), descriptions, attributes, photo links, notes, and the labels they file them under
  • Later updates your agents report, such as a price change or a sale
  • Your decisions: what you keep, toss (and why), star, or buy
  • Listing photos your agents upload, which we save in two sizes

Sharing

  • The email addresses you invite to your pan, and what you share with each person (all of it or some labels, to view or to sift)
  • Who made each decision in a shared pan
  • The links you make to some of your labels, and which finds each one shows

If you open someone’s link

  • Your votes and comments on their finds, and the name you give, if you give one
  • A random code for your browser, kept in a cookie and stored with us only as a one-way hash, so your browser has one vote on each find and can delete its own comments

Connected agents

  • The name of each app or agent you connect, and when it last ran and when its last ten runs began
  • The credentials it uses, stored only as one-way hashes

Collected automatically

  • Your IP address and browser type, in our hosting provider’s request logs, and as one-way hashes in the counters that limit repeated attempts
  • Your time zone, from your browser, so emails arrive in your morning, and when you last opened Goldpan, so they come less often while you are away
  • Whether our email to you bounced or was marked as spam, which our email provider tells us
  • A few cookies: the ones that keep you signed in, one that remembers your light or dark theme, and, once you vote or comment through someone’s link, the code for your browser and the name you gave. We use no analytics or advertising trackers, and our emails carry no tracking.

How we use your information

  • To show your board, recognize listings you have already seen, and keep tossed finds from coming back
  • To answer your agents’ requests on your behalf
  • To send email: sign-in links, invites, and a notice when a password, Google sign-in, or an agent is added to your account; and unless you turn them off, the digest of your board, price drops on finds you kept (if you ask for them right away), a few emails to help you get started, and a note when an agent stops or someone joins your pan. If our email to you bounces or is marked as spam, we send only sign-in links and security notices until you start it again in Settings
  • To protect Goldpan and its users against unauthorized access and abuse
  • To respond to your messages, and to comply with legal obligations

Goldpan runs no AI on its servers: your own agents do the searching and judging. We do not use your information for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Listings are third-party content

The text and photos of a listing come from its seller or marketplace, through your agent. We keep them only to show you your board. Fourteen days after a tossed find moves to Archived (7 days after you toss it, or sooner if you archive it), we delete its description, notes, attributes, and saved photos. We keep your decision and what identifies the listing (its link, listing numbers, title, location, and last price), so that it never comes back to your board.

Connecting AI agents

Goldpan works with the AI agents you choose to connect, such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok. When you connect one:

  • It acts as you, within what Goldpan lets agents do: check listings against your board, submit finds, read your finds, add what it learns about them, and report changes to their listings. It cannot keep or toss finds for you.
  • What it reads from Goldpan, such as your finds and your labels, goes to that company at your direction. Once it leaves Goldpan, that company’s privacy policy and terms govern it, not this policy, and we do not control how it is used.
  • You can disconnect any agent in Settings. Disconnecting stops its access from then on; it does not recall what it already received.

Sharing your pan

You can share your pan, all of it or some of its labels, with people you invite by email. They see the finds you share, with their photos, details, map, and history, and your name and email address. If you let them sift, their keeps and tosses change your pan, and its history shows who made each one.

  • An invite goes by email to the address you enter. Only the account with that address can accept it, within 14 days.
  • You can change what someone sees, or remove them, at any time; they can leave at any time. Their past decisions stay in your pan’s history.
  • If someone invites you, we keep your email address with the invite so we can send it and you can accept it. If you have no Goldpan account, accepting the invite makes one with that address. An invite nobody accepts is deleted 30 days after it expires.

Sharing by link

You can also make a link to some of your labels. Anyone who has the link, with or without an account, can see those labels’ new finds, kept finds, or both, as you choose: their photos, prices, places, details, and the sellers’ descriptions, and your name if you gave one (never your email). They can give each find a thumbs up or down and comment on it; they cannot keep or toss anything. A link can be forwarded, so anyone it reaches can do the same.

  • You can change what a link shows, replace it with a new one, or turn it off in Settings at any time.
  • Votes and comments show on your finds, to you and the people you share your pan with. You can delete any comment.
  • If you open someone’s link, your name is optional. Your votes and comments, with your name if you gave one, are seen by the link’s owner, the people they share their pan with, and anyone with a link of theirs that shows that find. You can delete your comments from the browser you wrote them in, or ask the owner to.

Service providers

These companies process information on our behalf to run Goldpan:

  • Railway: hosts the application and the database where your account and finds are stored
  • Cloudflare: domain name service, network security, and storage for saved photos and database backups
  • Resend: delivers our emails
  • Google: sign-in, if you choose to sign in with Google, and the map on a find’s page, which your browser loads from Google with where the find is (its listed town, or the spot your agent gave); Google may set its own cookies in the map (subject to Google’s privacy policy)

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With the service providers above, to run Goldpan
  • With the agents you connect, at your direction
  • With the people you share your pan with, and anyone who has a link you made, as you choose
  • With your consent
  • To comply with legal obligations, or to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Who at Goldpan can see your information

Goldpan’s administrators can see your account details (your email, name, when you joined and last signed in), which agents you have connected and when they ran, how many people you share your pan with, and the emails we sent you, to support you and keep Goldpan running. They see your finds only as counts: what you are shopping for stays private, even from them. Every change an administrator makes to an account is recorded.

Your rights

You can:

  • Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Correct your name in Settings, or ask us to correct anything else that is wrong
  • Delete your account and its data yourself (below)
  • Change or stop any of those emails but sign-in links, invites, and security notices, from the links in it or in Settings

For anything else, write to us through the contact page.

Retention

  • We keep your account and finds while your account is open.
  • A tossed find’s description, notes, attributes, saved photos, and the votes and comments on it are deleted 14 days after it moves to Archived (7 days after you toss it, or sooner if you archive it); what identifies the listing is kept so it never returns.
  • Saved photos of new finds whose listings have been gone from the market for a month are deleted.
  • Votes and comments made through a link stay on the find, even after the link is turned off, until the owner deletes them, the find is deleted, or 14 days after the find is tossed and moves to Archived.
  • An invite to a pan that nobody accepts is deleted 30 days after it expires.
  • The emails we send are logged: their content for 90 days, and the record that we sent them for a year. Sign-in links are logged without the part that signs you in, and emails that show your finds without their content.
  • Database backups are kept for up to 30 days.

Deleting your account

In Settings, choose Delete account and type your email to confirm. We delete your account, finds (with the votes and comments on them), connected agents, saved photos, and logged emails at once, your agents lose access, and so do the people you shared your pan with and anyone with a link you made. Your decisions in pans shared with you stay in their owners’ history, without your name. Copies in our database backups expire within 30 days. If you cannot sign in, write to us through the contact page.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), one-way hashing of passwords and credentials, and access checks on every request. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Goldpan is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the date above. Your continued use of Goldpan after a change means you accept the updated policy.
